Gambling is entertainment — not a financial strategy and not a guaranteed income source. EP77 provides tools, information and support to help you stay in control at all times.
Responsible gambling is not a footnote at EP77 — it is a core part of how the platform is built and operated. We believe that every player has the right to enjoy gaming within boundaries that suit their own situation, and that the platform has a responsibility to make those boundaries easy to set and easy to maintain.
Pakistani players accessing EP77 from Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan or anywhere else in the country bring their own circumstances, budgets and personal risk tolerances to the table. EP77 does not assume that one approach fits all. Our responsible gambling framework gives you the tools to define your own limits and to hold yourself accountable to them — with the Platform's help, not despite it.
Gambling should feel like entertainment — like watching a PSL match or following an ICC tournament with something at stake. The moment it stops feeling that way, it is time to use the tools on this page or to reach out to independent support resources. EP77 encourages you to do exactly that, without hesitation and without judgment.
All of the following tools are accessible from the Responsible Gambling section of your EP77 Account area. They are available at any time — not just when you feel you need them.
Set a maximum amount you are willing to deposit over a daily, weekly or monthly period. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits will be processed until the period resets. Limit reductions take effect immediately. Increases require a mandatory cooling-off period before they come into force, giving you time to reconsider.
Set a cap on the total amount you are prepared to lose over a defined period — daily, weekly or monthly. Once your loss limit is reached, your Account will not accept further real-money bets until the period resets. As with deposit limits, reductions are immediate and increases require a cooling-off period.
Define the maximum time you want to spend on the Platform in a single session. When your session limit is reached, the Platform will prompt you to stop. You can also configure a session reminder that notifies you at intervals during your session so you can make a conscious choice about whether to continue.
Reality check notifications appear at configurable intervals during your play sessions — every 30, 60 or 120 minutes, depending on your preference. Each notification shows how long you have been playing, your net session result, and gives you the option to continue or stop. This feature is designed to interrupt automatic play patterns.
Request a temporary break from the Platform lasting 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or any other duration you choose. During a cooling-off period, your Account remains open but you cannot deposit or place bets. This tool is ideal when you want a short break without permanently closing your Account.
Self-exclusion is a serious, enforced commitment to stop gambling on EP77 for a defined period — or indefinitely. During a self-exclusion, you cannot deposit, bet or access gambling features. Self-exclusion periods are enforced and cannot be reversed during the active exclusion window. This tool is there when you need it most.
Setting responsible gambling limits on EP77 takes less than two minutes. Here is how to do it:
Access the Platform from any device. No app download is required — the full Account area is accessible via browser on Android and iOS devices commonly used across Pakistan.
Click or tap your profile icon in the top right corner and select "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu.
The Responsible Gambling section is a dedicated tab within Account Settings — it is not hidden or difficult to find. This is by design.
Select from deposit limits, loss limits, session time controls, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion. Enter your chosen amounts and periods and confirm. Reductions take effect immediately.
You will receive an on-screen confirmation and an email summary of the limits you have set. Keep this email for your records.
Self-exclusion is the most significant responsible gambling tool available. Here is what happens when you activate it:
Gambling problems do not always develop suddenly. They often build gradually. Recognising the warning signs early gives you the best chance of addressing them before they become serious. Ask yourself honestly whether any of the following apply to you:
You find yourself thinking about gambling frequently throughout the day — planning your next session, recalling recent wins or replaying recent losses.
You are gambling with money that was set aside for essential expenses — rent, utility bills, groceries, school fees — or money borrowed from friends or family.
You feel the need to increase the size or frequency of your bets to get the same level of excitement that smaller bets once provided.
You have tried to cut down or stop gambling, and found that you could not stick to the decision.
You are hiding your gambling activity from family members or close friends, or lying about how much time or money you spend gambling.
You feel anxious, irritable or restless when you are not gambling, or use gambling to escape stress, depression or difficult personal circumstances.
After a losing session, you feel a strong and urgent compulsion to return to gambling immediately to "win back" what you have lost (commonly called "chasing losses").
These practical habits help keep gambling in its proper place — as an occasional form of entertainment, not a central part of daily life.
Set a budget before you start, not after. Decide what you can afford to lose in a given session, treat it as the cost of entertainment, and stop when it is gone.
Set a time limit and keep it. Use EP77's session timer so you do not lose track of how long you have been playing. Even during an exciting PSL chase or a live casino winning streak, time limits exist for a reason.
Never chase losses. A loss is the cost of the entertainment you have already had. Chasing it with more bets almost always makes the situation worse. Walk away.
Do not gamble under the influence. Alcohol, stress or emotional distress impairs judgment. Avoid gambling sessions when your decision-making is not at its clearest.
Take regular breaks. Scheduled breaks — whether daily, weekly or monthly — help maintain a healthy relationship with gambling and keep it from becoming habitual.
Talk to someone you trust. If you are concerned about your gambling habits, speaking with a family member or trusted friend is often the first and most important step.
Use the tools available on the Platform. Deposit limits, loss limits and self-exclusion are there for you. Using them is a sign of good judgment, not weakness.
This is not a clinical diagnostic tool — it is a simple reflection exercise. Read each question honestly. If several of these apply to you on a regular basis, it is worth talking to someone or using EP77's responsible gambling tools.
If you answered "yes" to two or more of the above, EP77 strongly encourages you to set responsible gambling limits through your Account settings and to consider seeking independent support. You do not have to wait until a problem becomes severe before asking for help.
If you are concerned about your own gambling or that of someone close to you, the following types of support are available. EP77 lists these as educational references only — we are not affiliated with these organisations.
Gambling problems often co-occur with anxiety, depression and stress. Mental health professionals and counsellors — available through public hospitals and private clinics in major Pakistani cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi — can provide confidential support for gambling-related distress. Speak to a general practitioner as a first step.
Peer support groups modelled on international frameworks such as Gamblers Anonymous operate in various forms and are accessible online. Speaking with others who have experienced the same challenges is one of the most effective forms of support for gambling problems. Search for online forums and communities that operate in English or Urdu.
Pakistan has mental health crisis helplines including the Umang helpline (0317-4288665) and Rozan Counselling Services, which provide confidential telephone-based counselling. These services are not gambling-specific but can provide immediate support for distress related to gambling problems. Contact details are subject to change — please verify current availability.
International organisations such as GamCare, Gambling Therapy and BeGambleAware provide free, confidential online support, self-assessment tools and live chat counselling. These resources are accessible to users in Pakistan and offer support in English. EP77 references these organisations as educational information only and is not affiliated with them.
The minimum age to register and use EP77 is 18 years — or the higher minimum age required by the operator's licence jurisdiction. This is a firm and non-negotiable requirement. EP77 takes age verification seriously and implements the following measures to protect minors:
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a minor in your care has accessed EP77, please contact support immediately using the email address on this page. The Account will be reviewed without delay.
EP77's responsible gambling tools are most effective when used proactively — before you feel you need them, not after. Here is how to get the most from them:
The best time to decide your deposit and loss limits is not in the middle of a session — it is when you are relaxed and thinking clearly about your finances.
Set a reminder — monthly, for example — to review whether your current limits still reflect your financial situation and your relationship with gambling.
Taking regular breaks from the Platform — even when things are going well — helps maintain a healthy perspective on gambling as entertainment.
If you are uncertain about any responsible gambling tool or would like guidance on the best option for your situation, EP77 support is available 24/7 in English (and Urdu on request) through the Platform's Help Center. Email: [email protected] (plain text — not a clickable link).
Understanding the financial realities of gambling is part of responsible play.
Gambling is, by design, a negative-expectation activity over time. Casinos and sports books operate with a built-in mathematical edge — often referred to as the "house edge" in casino games or the "margin" in sports betting odds. This means that for every Pakistani Rupee (PKR) wagered across all players over a long period, the platform will retain a proportion as revenue. Individual players can and do win in the short term, but the long-run expectation for any gambler is a loss.
This is not a secret and EP77 does not pretend otherwise. Understanding this fundamental fact is the single most important piece of knowledge for a responsible gambler. It means:
Pakistani households, from Karachi to Peshawar, have diverse financial circumstances. EP77 does not assume any particular budget is appropriate — only you know your financial situation. EP77's deposit and loss limit tools exist precisely to help you enforce the budget you set for yourself.
Set your limits, use the tools and make sure gambling stays what it should be — entertainment. Visit the EP77 homepage, read our FAQ or review our Terms and Conditions to understand your full rights as a user.
🔞 18+ only — or the higher minimum required by the applicable jurisdiction. Gambling involves financial risk. Local laws in Pakistan may restrict online gambling. EP77 does not claim Pakistani government authorisation. If gambling is causing you harm, please use the self-exclusion tool or seek independent support.
